The FMS Advanced Systems Group is pleased to announce
Sentinel Timeliner: a new member of the Sentinel software family
specifically for visualizing timelines. This new product is
designed to make it easy to visualize and understand the nature
of events through time, from simple ranges of dates through
complex stories that involve hundreds of events.

You can create multiple
timelines within a single timeline file, or organize
your data into a single timeline per file structure.
Simply right-click on the timeline to create a new
timeline.

Sentinel Timeliner allows
you to navigate through time and through time views.
Use the Level In/Level Out buttons to change the
time level (e.g. from century to decade to minute to
hour, etc.) You can also change the time level using
the zoom feature and navigate using arrow buttons
and scrollbars.

Creating timelines is
easy: just right-click on a Case file and enter a
few properties. You can have any number of timelines
and any number of events associated with multiple
timelines.

You can add an unlimited
number of events to a timeline. Add specific events
by simply dragging it on to the timeline display.
You can also add external files such as video,
audio, pictures, text, etc. to the event.

Timeline files are
organized by Cases. You can create any number of
case inside your Project folder. This organizational
structure makes managing your timeline data simple
and easy.

Create new events by
double-clicking on the events window. Enter start
and end date/time information and you are ready to
go. Choose a graphical depiction from hundreds of
built-in icons or select your own.
